About Eva

Eva Group is the UK’s first luxury care home brand designed for the LGBTQ+ community. We’re building beautiful, identity-affirming homes where people can age with dignity, culture, and pride without hiding who they are.

Our first site opens in Edinburgh, with homes in London, Brighton, and Manchester to follow.

Combining personalised care, inclusive design, cultural programming, and smart technology, Eva is setting a new standard in eldercare.

With no LGBTQ+ specific care homes currently in the UK, we’re filling a vital gap - with a scalable model, strong demand, and a mission that aligns profit with purpose.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

Who is Eva Group for?

Eva Group is designed for LGBTQ+ people who want to age in a place where they feel safe, affirmed, and celebrated. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and life experiences who resonate with our values of dignity, inclusion, and joy.

Is Eva Group a charity?

No, Eva Group is not a charity. We are a purpose-driven business that aligns strong commercial performance with social impact. Our homes are designed to offer exceptional care, beautiful environments, and a joyful, identity-affirming experience for LGBTQ+ people as they age.

Is Eva Group only for people who can afford private care?

Eva Group will charge private fees for our all-inclusive service, but we are also exploring ways to make our model accessible to more people. That includes working with local authorities to offer part-funded places, sharing best practices with other providers to improve LGBTQ+ care across the sector, and launching our annual Eva Award to support LGBTQ+ people entering the care profession.

What makes Eva Group different from other care homes?

Unlike traditional care homes, Eva Group places LGBTQ+ identity and cultural connection at the heart of everything we do. Our homes feature inclusive design, cultural programming, and affirming care practices, all supported by cutting-edge technology and a highly trained, compassionate team.

Where will Eva Group open first?

Our flagship site will open in Edinburgh, followed by locations in Brighton, London, and Manchester.

What is the Founder Deposit Programme?

The Founder Deposit Programme is a way to secure early access to Eva Group’s care homes. For a fully refundable £10,000 deposit, founding residents receive 10% off fees for the first year and priority placement. If the home does not open or if no bed is available, the deposit is fully refunded. If someone changes their mind, 75% is refunded. Learn more.
